Hi my name is Sumitra Coote and I’m, looking to get my cousin Terry Chung, in Kingston, Jamaica some help to get her home repaired after hurricane Melissa.

After consulting with her and convincing her to accept help, I'm glad to be able to share this with you. She is still in shock after the devastating effects of Hurricane Melissa on our beautiful island and even though she is in need, her concerns are not about herself but just on how she can help others. She has been helping coordinate donation drives and volunteering her time to help the relief efforts in some of the most affected areas of the island. Her home is more than a home, it is a “PlaySchool” and has helped many families over the years to get help caring for children.

Her home is located in Kingston, even though it wasn’t in the direct path of the hurricane the roof sustained heavy damage and leaked during the storm, now there is mold in the walls. She will need to get the roof replaced, ceilings repaired and mold remediation, which is badly needed because her son has Asthma. Donations will be greatly appreciated to help get them back on their feet, donations will go towards supplies needed for repairs and labor costs for repairs.
