We are the Christies from Montego Bay, Jamaica, and we are reaching out with heavy hearts after the devastating impact of Hurricane Melissa. This hurricane has turned our world upside down. The powerful winds and torrential rains brought severe flooding into our home, filling it with mud, water, and debris. Our furniture, appliances, and personal belongings were destroyed, and the surrounding yard was left covered in dirt, fallen trees, and broken fences. What was once our safe and happy family home is now in ruins.

As a family, we are doing our best to stay strong, but the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. We are kindly asking for help as we work to rebuild our lives. The funds raised will go directly toward repairing the structural damage to our home, replacing essential furniture and appliances, and helping us clean up the heavy mud and debris left behind. We will also need to remove fallen trees, restore damaged electrical wiring, and replace clothing and basic household items that were destroyed in the flood.
