Help the Chin Tewasart Family Rebuild after the Eaton Fire

Please help to support the Chin Tewasart family after losing their home in the Eaton Fire.

We are organizing this for our dear friends David, Clarissa, and their daughter Miya. Our children attend school together, and from our first time meeting them the kindness and friendship their family embodies was special.

They left their home during the day Tuesday January 7th, after a restless night of sleep. The winds had already been so strong, knocking out power in their area. They took very little with them and were not prepared to never return. They lost everything in the fire, memories, keepsakes, and generations of irreplaceable family heirlooms. It has already been an incredibly difficult year for their family, losing David’s father and then Clarissa’s mother, both within only a few short months.

As beloved local business owners, Clarissa and David have been active in helping to shape and build community in Altadena. They are always thinking of other’s first and have continued to do so even in the midst of this tragedy. They need resources to rebuild their own lives, as they continue to show up for so many others that need support too.
