Maha and her family are enduring unimaginable hardship. They once had a home where they felt safe but that all changed when the airstrike destroyed everything they owned. Now
Maha and her family are living in a small tent that barely provides them with any protection from the elements. They feel exposed, vulnerable, and afraid of what tomorrow may bring.
The winter season has already begun, and the heavy rains are pouring down on them. Their tent, which is supposed to be a temporary refuge, offers little shelter from the cold and wet conditions. Each night, Maha lies awake with her sister and her brothers, huddled together, trying to stay warm while the rain seeps through, drenching their clothes and blankets. They are scared, and Fathi, the children's father, feels utterly helpless watching them shiver in the cold, unable to provide them with the safety and care they need.
Maha needs the money that is perceived to be the bare minimum for the privileged population in Europe, money they spend on luxuries that are not in any way necessities for survival. 3 Euros for coffee. 10 for food. Miss out on these luxuries once and help provide Maha with BASIC needs. Education. Medical care. Food. Water. Survival.
The ceasefire is not a ceasefire and Israel's reign of terror will not stop until the world wakes up to how everyday, the West profits off of a pile of bodies left dead or degraded by an entitled Europe, an entitled America, entitled colonial capitalistic states that are drunk on the belief that they have the right to decide who gets to live on a piece of land. Wake up. Know that you still have an impact with a large radius. 3 euros is plenty. Use it well.
Maha says thanks.
