Please help our talented group from Calallen get to Destination Imagination Global Finals in Kansas City, Missouri! Our team consists seven 5th graders from Magee Elementary. They won 1st place at regionals and 4th place at state!! We are ready to compete at globals May 22-26, 2019. https://www.globalfinals.org/ We need your help to pay for travel, registration, and lodging for the team. Every little bit helps!
Destination Imagination (DI) is a non-profit, volunteer-led, cause-driven organization. Their purpose is to inspire and equip students to become the next generation of innovators and leaders. They offer a creative problem-solving competition that involves Science,Technology, Engineering, Arts & Math. This team has worked hard for 7 months to design and build multiple pieces of equipment to solve the technical challenge. A big part of the program is the Interference policy: in short, kids have to imagine, create and develop solutions on their own. Parents, Team Managers, family and friends can't suggest ideas or force teams in certain directions.
