I’m doing this fundraiser to help my friends, Louise and Gary Cherico, and their daughter Maddy. Gary and Louise have been married for 28 years. They are both community helpers who do so much for others. Gary was diagnosed with terminal cancer, stage 4 kidney which metastasized and he is presently in Hospice Care. Gary is a loving and much beloved husband and father. Gary is strong willed and in good spirits despite his struggle. This illness has been financially devastating for their family. They need lots of love and prayers, but they also need money to help pay their myriad of bills and ongoing expenses. Meeting our goal would change the trajectory of Louise and Maddie's life. Even with everything going on, Maddy’s  goal is going to college September 2023, to ultimately become a Veterinarian. She is already working at an Animal Hospital and studies Pet Medicine at Putnam Northern Westchester Boces. It would be a fresh start for them.  Thank you so much for helping them out and God Bless Louise and her family. Louise is the direct recipient and beneficiary.
