On April 9th 2021 The Chavez family received devastating news, their mother Martha Chavez had been diagnosed with Stage II Cancer. 

The Oncologist has advised the family that Mrs. Chavez needs immediate intervention to remove the tumors, and will possibly undergo a few rounds of Chemotherapy, due the location of the tumor, the procedure needs to continue without delay.

The procedure is costly and without qualifying for programs, and the health insurance not covering many of the procedures, the family had to seek medical help in Tijuana, Mexico. 

The lives of the Chavez family have changed drastically in a matter of days, from creating schedules to care for their mother, creating meal schedules, calling different doctor’s offices to gather as much information as possible. 

The Chavez family has a very long road ahead of them in the days and months ahead. As you can imagine, their medical bills are going to add up quickly. It is our goal to alleviate some of their financial burden so they can focus on their mother’s treatment. If you know the Chavez family, you know how much they mean to their friends, family, co-workers and community. They are always the first to offer a helping hand, and offer their support in time of need. The Chavez family is so loving and supportive with everyone they encounter and are active members of their community. We know many of you have reached out to them offering to help. This is the best way to do so!

 All money raised will be used towards medical expenses, leading up to their mother’s surgery.
