Hi, my name is Christina Chase and I am one of Ed's daughter-in-laws. The Chase Family has asked me to set this up. Pop has passed on and it all happened so suddenly. We want to set up our mama, his wife Lisa, while she is having to pull together so many pieces. Just before we all got news of Pop's illness, they had begun tearing apart their long time home in Aguanga, CA. The home has been a home to us all, a nest, a family haven for many years, but as the nest emptied, Ed and Lisa made new plans to travel the country together in their RV. The Chase homestead was in complete gutted phase when Ed passed. The home needed to be completely rebuilt in order to sell it and have something to show after his life of work and service to the Lord. Something to leave his wife. Unfortunately, the more we dig... the more we find we have to rebuild, this is the last thing we want mom to have to deal with. Fortunately the Lord blessed Ed with such a beautiful family filled with talented and hard working people!The family is all in. Everyone is on site working as much as possible... but there is soooo much to do. In order to make this happen in a reasonable time and to be able to sell the house... we need funding to make this go smoothly and help Lisa move on to the next chapter of her life. It is hard enough for her to even begin to take steps towards a new beginning... but to keep getting pulled into the past is just too much for anyone to have to bear. With all the expenses that come along with losing one's spouse, moving and taking care of the house.. our family is asking all those who knew and loved Ed, to come together for his legacy. Ed touched so many lives in his time here, he lent a hand to all, he provided for many, he loved and loved.... we just want to make things how he wanted. Thank you for your help. God Bless.
