Help the Chapman's in their time of sudden loss.
Donation protected
Hi my name is Brittany Arruda and I am the sister of Brianna Chapman and sister-in-law of Caleb Chapman.
I am setting up this GoFundMe with a very heavy heart. On July 28th, at her 20 week fetal check-up, the doctor's found that the baby (Oliver Jude) had no heart beat. Alone at the appointment, Brianna had to endure the news and relay it to Caleb over the phone, and then make the 1.5 hour drive home by herself.
They are already a family of 6 and were all joyously awaiting the arrival of their 7th member of the family. Brianna is a full-time stay at home mom with Caleb being the sole breadwinner. Unfortunately his job doesn't allow for vacation time, or paid time off of any kind. Caleb had to leave work yesterday (July 28th) to be with the family and grieve.
Brianna and Caleb will be going into the hospital this morning (July 29th) for a full induction to deliver their sweet baby boy who wasn't able to make it Earthside. They do not have the best insurance; that coupled with Caleb having no leave, this expense is coming 20 weeks earlier than anticipated.
Nobody should have to endure the loss of a child, that alone is incomprehensible. To bear that with the added stress of lost wages and looming medical bills is an added burden that I'm hoping this GoFundMe can help alleviate.
In addition to everything above, I am hoping that this will raise the funds so they are able to lay sweet Oliver to rest as they so choose. It would be a huge blessing if Caleb was able to stay home for a little while once Brianna is discharged from the hospital. She will need the support, he will need time to process everything, and they have 4 other children that they'll need to take care of through this heartbreak.
ANY help is appreciated. Thoughts, prayers, donations. Thank you for reading.
