My name is Marie, and I am a mom of two with my husband, Brian. Unfortunately, we have come to a place of need. Brian Chapman got diagnosed with cancer, specifically stage 3 melanoma that has spread to his lymph nodes. We are currently waiting on a PET scan to determine how much it has spread. Brian has already had surgery to remove the cancerous mole which has put him out of work for the whole last month and that has put us really behind.

Brian is the primary breadwinner, and due to an injury, I am unable to go back to work at this time. Brian will be in immunotherapy treatment for the next coming year. If you know anything about Brian, he is a fighter, and I am confident that we are going to be able to get into remission, but that will require a lot of his attention and energy. It would be so helpful to have some type of savings that will get us through this coming year so that Brian can heal and recover without worrying about money.

It will be tough on us all, so to have normalcy is our best option, and a GoFundMe will help with that. This GoFundMe is really for the children so we can assure that we are not carrying around more stress and that they are both provided for. This is a really hard thing to do.

Any assistance provided will go towards raising two children and paying bills. We have a plan set into place that will allow us to be able to support our children's' lives. Penny does ballet, Theo loves soccer and both of those things are off the table for now until we get ahead. We will also be stocking our pantry with these funds to provide healthy food to our children.
