Rebuild After Tornado Devastation
Hi, my name is Tray Chaney and my wife, Ayesha Chaney, and I never imagined we would be writing something like this.
On 5/29/2025, our home was completely destroyed by a tornado that swept through Georgia. In just minutes, everything we had — a lifetime of memories, belongings, and the roof over our heads — was gone. Thankfully, we’re safe, but my son, Malachi Chaney, is still fighting hard in ICU. He’s suffering from broken ribs, fractured bones in his face, and so much more. This task is overwhelming, and we know that God got us.
We are currently staying with friends/family (or in a shelter/hotel), but we need help to begin rebuilding our lives. This includes essentials like clothing, food, temporary housing, and eventually the means to repair or replace our home.
We are humbly asking for any support you can give — whether it’s a donation, a share, and prayers for our son Malachi who’s in ICU, or just keeping us in your thoughts. Every little bit truly makes a difference.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your kindness and support during this difficult time. We’re doing our best to stay strong and hopeful, and your generosity helps more than you know.
With gratitude,
The Chaney Family
