Help the Chakib Family

Today, my dear friend, Connie Chakib, owner of Imaginations Hair Salon in Hackettstown, lost her family home of 25 years on Miller Street, Hackettstown from a devastating fire.  Connie and her family need our help in recovering from such devastation. Since COVID19 hit in March, her and her husband's businesses had to close with no income to provide for their three wonderful children Aicha, Laila, and Joseph, all of whom attended Hackettstown School District.  Connie and Red are some of the hardest working and generous people I know, and now its our time to give back to them.  Please donate what you can afford to help this fabulous family. I know they will appreciate all what our little town can do. **** UPDATE****:  Many people are asking where they can drop off gifts cards to help the family replace common  necessities such as clothes, shoes, food, etc. since they have lost everything.  Gift cards to Shoprite, Weiss,Target, Walmart, Amazon, Kohls can be put in an envelope marked with the Chakib family's name on it. Gift cards can be mailed or dropped off at the home of Donna Walling,  209 High Street, Hackettstown, NJ, 07840.  Please be sure to put in mail slot in the glass fronted door of Mrs. Wallings home.  Thank you all.
