Help the Ceniceros Family Beat Cancer
If you’re fortunate enough to know Ivan and Amanda you know over the past 10 years they have created a beautiful life together. Ivan is a military veteran, tball coach, dedicated corrections officer but most importantly an amazing father to their two adorable boys Ivan Jr,4, and Julian,1, and a devoted husband to Amanda .
Unfortunately tragedy has hit their family.
On Sunday September 23rd, Ivan went to the ER with stomach pains and found a mass in his intestines and was admitted to TMC.
After days of specialists and tests, at the young age of 32, he was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer that has spread to his liver.
Just a couple days after being admitted, they took the first step with surgery to remove as much of the cancer from his intestines that they could. All while his wife Amanda has continued juggling being there for him, their babies and continuing to take care of their home and work.
After getting passed their first hurdle, he now has an even bigger battle ahead. As of October 16th he has started his first round of chemo and has months of treatments and potential surgeries ahead of him before knowing the results or outcome.
Thankfully he has health insurance through his work but Unfortunately it comes with an $8,000 deductible that is quickly adding up and will start over in a short two months.
