Since late November 2019, Laura has been suffering with abdomen pain and a mass that has grown at an alarming and frightening rate.  After many tests we have discovered that she has a very, very rare tumor called a Desmoid Tumor aka Aggressive Fibromatosis aka Agressive Fibrosarcoma.  Unfortunately because of their rarity, each is unique in its behavior and treatment.   Tests conducted in spring 2020 confirmed that it is actually within her abdomen wall, growing from an area on the rectus abdominal muscle, near her c-section scar.   Laura is being seen by a specialist with Michigan Medicine on her road to recovery.

As many of you know, Laura and Thomas have three amazing daughters ages 10 and under: Arya, Thisbe, and Vesper.  They are also the proud owners of Lord and Lady Construction, and are in the process of building a new entertainment and food business in Northport, Around the Corner Food and Fun.  This sudden onset has been a big change for our family, and has added additional stresses and concerns while living through this pandemic.  The finances are compounded by having no health insurance coverage.  We are working to sell assets  to help remedy this, but are in need of financial assistance as we work through the process.
