Help the cats of Bosnia

Hi, my name's Rose, and I'm raising money for a very dear friend of mine who runs a small sanctuary for cats in Tuzla, Bosnia. Life is hard there for humans and cats. Street cats lead short, sad lives at the risk of injury, abuse, and death from so many predators - cars, the many street dogs there, and (worst of all), from evil humans. Hardest hit are the female cats who can start having kittens when no more than 4 months old, and then have to raise them on the mean streets with no shelter, no medical care and without enough food for themselves, let alone their babies. My friend Amra is a young woman with a child and simply can't take in every needy cat, but she can try to get as many spayed/neutered as possible to stop this vicious circle. Prices are cheaper in Bosnia but still costs £30.00 per cat for the anaesthesia, surgery and aftercare before the cats are released back into their area where they can at least live without the fear of endless pregnancies and births. Neutering the males will also help as well as stopping the males continuously fighting and ending up with dreadful abscesses and illnesses caused by fighting. Please help if you can. Even £5.00 will help as 6 people sending £5.00 will save one cat from a life of misery. I know we have problems here too, but animals are the same everywhere and all need care and health protection. have spent years in Eastern Europe, my own cats are adopted from there, and I can vouch for the horrors they go through (often leading to a lifetime of traumatic stress), so please don't turn away. Thanks.
