Help the Castillo Family Attend Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland
Imagine being 8 years old and wondering why you can’t do all the things your friends do.
Why loud noises make your body freeze. Why lights and excitement — the very things that bring joy to others — feel like danger to you.
This is the daily reality for Olivia Castillo, a bright, brave little girl living with Jeavons Syndrome (JS) — a rare and often misunderstood form of epilepsy. Her seizures are frequent, unpredictable, and easily triggered by the world around her: flashing lights, overstimulation, even just excitement.
For Olivia, something as simple as a family day at Disneyland isn’t safe — unless it’s Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disney.
And that’s why we need your help.
A Special Event for Extra-Special Families on November 12-13 2025
Olivia’s parents, Michaela and Victor, and her two younger sisters, Eva and Savannah, dream of attending this life-changing event: a two-day Epilepsy Awareness Expo followed by a specially planned day at Disneyland designed specifically for families like theirs.
It’s more than just a trip.
It’s a lifeline — a chance to:
✨ Meet with world-renowned doctors from across the globe who specialize in epilepsy care and research.
✨ Connect with other families navigating the same challenges, building a support network they’ve never had.
✨ Give Olivia a magical day where she doesn’t feel “different” — where everything is safe, inclusive, and built with her needs in mind.
Why Your Help Matters
For families living with epilepsy, the emotional and financial toll is constant. Specialized care, therapy, tests, medications — it all adds up. The Castillo family works hard every day to support Olivia’s needs while giving her sisters a sense of normalcy. But making this trip possible — with travel, accommodations, event fees, and care considerations — is something they simply can’t do alone.
Your donation, no matter how small, brings them closer to:
Hope for new answers
Belonging in a world that often feels isolating
A once-in-a-lifetime chance for Olivia to just be a kid — safe, celebrated, and surrounded by love.
