Dear family, friends, and kind hearted strangers,

This GoFundMe was created in order to help with the expenses that comes with a death in the family. With a broken heart our family is devastated with the loss of our father, Rene Casillas. He was so much more than just a father. He was a husband, grandfather, a well respected friend, a dedicated man who did all he could do for his family plus an inspiration for other fathers whom had to do the same. He worked tirelessly in construction to provide food and a roof over our heads. He was well known as "El Güero”. With his determination in the American dream, he was capable of putting us in sports, continue our education, and helped pursue our career dreams as much as possible. Unfortunately, he was deported which caused him sadness, hurt, and distress. Lamentably, our father was found without life on June 29, 2025. This unexpected tragedy has left our whole family exceedingly emotionally distraught, mentally drained, and financially burdened. We are asking for help to funerary services,church services,etc. If you’re not capable to donate please share!
