Help the Casey Kroulik Family!
On June 7th, Casey Kroulik fell from scaffolding while working. While he “stuck” the landing, he unfortunately broke his leg in multiple places. He was taken by ambulance to the Goodridge Football field where he was transported by air ambulance to Essentia Fargo. He was then taken by ambulance from Essentia to Sanford Hospital due to the extent of his injuries.
The doctors found that he had multiple fractures in his tibia and fibula, his ankle, his wrist, and torn ligaments in his knee. The doctors operated on the ankle and set the leg in a complicated brace. Casey had to wait for some of the swelling to go down to have the second surgery on June 22nd. There will possibly be a third surgery on his leg/ankle, followed by knee surgery after the leg bones have healed.
Casey is healing at home. He is non-weight bearing and will hopefully be upright by the time football and school begins. Due to the accident, the medical bills are mounting, and they have lost his summer income. He will need continued recovery and therapy as he rehabilitates his leg, ankle, and knee.
A group of friends and community members are working to help Casey and Tiffany during this challenging time. Please consider giving to help the Kroulik family. Casey and Tiffany have given so much to our school, students, athletes, and community…it’s our turn to give back.
