Help The Cao's Family After Fire Tragedy

Hey y'all,

On Wednesday, October 2nd, my sister, grandma, and I experienced a devastating loss—our home was destroyed by a fire. The fire started while my grandma was frying fish in the back kitchen. She had left for the grocery store and forgot to turn off the fryer. Thankfully, no one was home at the time, and our neighbor quickly called 911 when they noticed the fire. By the time we returned, the firefighters and emergency services were already there.

While we're grateful that everyone is safe, our home is now unlivable, and most of our belongings have been damaged or destroyed. My sister and I are currently nursing students at LSU Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and being in the middle of the semester, this has added a lot of stress to an already challenging time.
