Help the Canovas Rebuild from Fire and Surgery

Donation protected
On December 30th, 2021 our dear friends Lori, Brent, Andrea, and David Canova lost their family home to the Marshall Fire. They had less than 5 minutes to evacuate and were only able to grab a file with important documents and a few photo albums before the flames engulfed their home. Lori and Brent lost everything they've ever owned over their lifetime while Andrea and David lost their childhood memories.

On top of this tragedy, Lori is currently in the hospital doing intensive rehab, recovering from emergency back surgery to remove a spinal cord tumor. The surgery was only 13 days before the fire, on December 17th, 2021 and she had to watch out her hospital window as her home burned down. Andrea and Brent had just measured their beloved home for Lori to return from the hospital in a wheelchair to start the next phase of her recovery. She has a long road of rehab and therapy ahead of her to hopefully learn to walk again.

If you are able, please help them start their rebuilding process for both their home and health. They feel for everyone in their community who lost their homes in this tragic fire and are grateful for the first responders and the outpouring of support. Thank you all so much.

Money will be spent on housing needs and surgery costs. Anything will help!
