Help the Campbells heal from the Grizzly Attack

After surviving a violent Grizzly attack, Donivan is finally back home with us. Unfortunately, his road to recovery is long- and at the same time his wife Megan is 7 months pregnant with their first child. Not only will there be medical bills upwards of $10k due to the long hospital stay and multiple surgeries, but Donno will not be able to resume work full time for potentially a couple months- all the while they are trying to prepare for their first child in December and the time away from work afterwards. Lets help make sure that this extremely difficult time doesn't become even more difficult for these two.



On Monday September 16th, Donivan and Chris were charged and attacked by a large boar Grizzly bear while bowhunting elk in Montana. The bear, which erupted from some brush ~20 yards from the pair, charged in an instant and attacked Donivan. The bear pinned him down, biting and tearing at Donivans thigh before trying to bite his head. Fortunately at this time, Chris was able to get a shot at the bear causing it to leave. Only moments later though the bear charged two more times, with Donno managing to fire at it. By some sort of miracle, no arteries were severed during the attack-and with unhuman strength Donivan was able to make it most of the way out of the woods himself before they were able to get a 4 wheeler to his location. The long ride/drive out of the woods marked the end of his survival story- but only the start of the struggle so far. With 6 lacerations to his thigh- including one going nearly through his leg from top to bottom- he required emergency transport to a surgical center in Butte where he underwent 2 surgeries last week. He has since stabilized and is on the path to recovery, but use of the leg is months away with another surgery & skin graft needed to fully close the remaining wounds.
