Hi everyone, I’m Jason Campbell, writing on behalf of my parents, Ed and Katie, and my brothers, Brian and JR.

Our family has tragically lost our family home of 33 years in the Hawk Fire. The fire advanced with terrifying speed, and it was only by the grace of God that my parents and brothers narrowly escaped with their lives. Although my brother is safe, he suffered burns on his face as he was saving their family dog.

My parents have been married for 48 years, and this house was the cornerstone of our family's life. Unfortunately, it burned completely to the ground, taking with it everything they owned. Decades of memories, family pictures, keepsakes, and the place they called home were all gone in an instant. To make matters even harder, my father is disabled and their insurance company had dropped their policy due to regional fire risk, leaving them completely uninsured and facing this devastation with no safety net.

We are raising funds to help them navigate the overwhelming expenses of losing everything:

• Secure temporary housing

• Replace basic necessities, household items and clothing

• Cover the unexpected costs of complete displacement

• Eventually begin rebuilding their lives and creating a new place to call home
