My name is Imelda Calderon, and I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times my family has faced.
Over the past few weeks, my husband, Alvaro Calderon, has been experiencing a serious decline in his health. He’s always been the kind of person who avoids going to the doctor unless absolutely necessary, but his symptoms became too concerning to ignore. He began experiencing shortness of breath, chest tightness, and a constant feeling of uneasiness.
After much convincing, I took him to the emergency room, where doctors ran extensive tests, including lab work, a stress test, and echocardiograms. Despite all of this, we still don’t have answers. He has now been referred to multiple specialists, with several appointments coming up as we continue searching for a diagnosis.
In the meantime, his condition hasn’t improved, and he’s been unable to work. I am currently working two jobs to try to keep up with our bills and daily expenses, but with the growing medical costs and reduced income, we are facing a significant financial strain.
We also have two teenage boys at home who depend on us. It’s just the four of us, and we don’t have any family nearby to lean on for support during this time, which makes this situation even more overwhelming.
We are asking for any support you can give during this uncertain time—whether it’s a donation or simply sharing our story. Every contribution, no matter the size, will help us cover medical expenses and keep our family afloat while we focus on getting Alvaro the care he needs.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, support, and prayers.
