Help the Butlers with medical and home relief

My name is Josie, and I am starting this fundraiser to help my uncle Phil, aunt Kim and their sweet family. If you know Phil and Kim, you’ve been blessed by them. Phil and Kim have spent their lives serving others, the church, and their families, generous with their time, resources, and home. Let’s bless them in their time of need!

Phil has been experiencing heart problems since 2021 when he went to the ER and was diagnosed with AFib. By fall and winter of 2022, mistaking heart failure symptoms as respiratory issues, an echocardiogram in late February discovered a very poor ejection fraction of only 15%, serious heart failure. After a cardioversion, and an ablation, Phil came home with a pacemaker on March 22. Phil has also struggled with significant anxiety, depression and insomnia. His heart is functioning better, which is a huge praise, but he is struggling to work even part-time hours with these issues and his energy level.

In the midst of all this, Phil and Kim learned they would need $17,000 to make foundation repairs to their home, after two plumbing emergencies totaling $1500. Also, several other repair projects are needed. If you know Phil, you know he can fix anything and has helped many of us fix our homes in the past. But with his health, he can no longer sustain this. He is unemployed presently. In addition to this, Kim took a pay cut this year to teach at the Christian School which is a passion they hope to continue ministering in.

We are asking all of those who have been blessed by the Butlers to give back to them during this hard season. We would like to ease the burden with Phil’s medical issues, and do what we can to show them our love. Thank you all for your love and generosity. Please keep Phil and their family in your prayers!
