Help The Burns Family - Home Lost To Lahaina Fire

If you know Greg and Sarah Burns then you already know they are two amazing people who would be the first in line to help anyone in need, but especially so for family or friends. Since I tried to post this without stating how I know The Burns’ (but GoFundMe required I do) - My name is Ryan Hagen (most who know me just call me Hagen) and I met Greg and Sarah through our dear friend Travis White who passed tragically in 2006. We all came to form a bond through Travis and as a result we are extended family. Greg and Sarah left SoCal not long after Trav’s passing in true Travis spirit to pursue their dream of Island Life where they could raise their kids Cameron and Leah with the Aloha culture! Greg and Sarah did just that, establishing themselves within the community and building businesses that have flourished on Maui and beyond. I have had the pleasure of visiting them on a few occasions there to see just how much they have embraced their dream of Island living.
Sadly, they lost their home, Greg’s office, and Leah’s school in the wildfires that tore through Lahaina earlier this week. Thankfully, Greg and family are all safe. They are with friends while they try to navigate next steps. Rebuilding will be a long road and they are going to need our prayers, positive vibes, and resources to help get them through this terrible time. The funds we raise will go directly to The Burns Fam to assist with basic necessities (food, water, toiletries, clothing), transportation (including flights off the island should they deem it necessary), and of course the costs involved in rebuilding their home / life.
Greg nor Sarah have asked for help, as that is just who they are! Fighters who will always get back up when they get knocked down, but like any friend who is down - we can all use a springboard to help us up! Please consider a donation in any amount to help an amazing family know they are loved, supported, and so they can continue to live their dream through an immensely difficult time!
