A few days ago, Gizmo was driving into work, when a buck suddenly struck the front of his car. Thankfully, he only received two cuts - but a lot of soreness and whiplash. We are grateful it wasn't worse. Unfortunately, his little car took massive damage. The whole front is in pieces, the windshield and passenger window are shattered and the steel frame is bent from impact. As you can imagine, he could not make it into work, and had to call out that night. This put him over the maximum allotted callout/late points, which resulted in him being let go. In just one night, he lost his job, and the most favorite car he's ever owned.

We are asking for help because this is a lot for us to bare all at once, having to get so much in order while we're picking up pieces. Gizmo is the main provider in our bunny household and handled the large majority of our bills. With him out of work, we are worried about paying our bills, namely our lot rent (we rent the land our home is on). This is the reason for this GoFundMe, we are afraid of struggling with paying our most important bill. We have been blessed to have this home, and need help to keep it. We don't want to lose it to this accident, too. The money we receive will tide us over for a few months until we can get things back in order.

We are not sure what is going to happen to our beloved little Smart Car. Currently, it is sitting in our driveway waiting to be towed to a shop. We suspect it might be totaled, which would not only break our hearts, but it'll put us in a very bad position. If we reach our donation goal, it will help ease the process of replacing it. (Although that car can never truly be replaced...it makes everyone including us smile so big)
