On Monday, September 20th, my dad, Sherman Bullard, went to work, although not feeling the best. He made it for a few hours until he was so fatigued he couldn’t carry on. If you know him, he doesn’t miss work. My mom took him to MedCheck for a COVID test. Before the results were even back, they sent him to the ER with concerns of his oxygen saturation and heart rate. They went straight there and he was admitted. Test of course ended up being positive. Did some more testing and he has COVID pneumonia in both lungs. The oxygen he is requiring has increased over the last few days, but has remained stable today. Doctors have him on steroid, lasix, remdesivir and just added Baricitinib today. The pulmonologist saw him today and is closely monitoring him. He expects him to be there for at least another week, and will come home on oxygen.
Enter the money worries…we have no idea what doctor bills are going be, and how long he will miss work. Healing of course is top priority, but the light company doesn’t care. Anything you can give to help stay afloat is appreciated. Prayers and good thoughts are welcome as well.
