Our dear sorority sister, Mary Gibbons Bucki, and her family are in a situation they never thought was possible, that is, asking for help with medical bills. Both her husband, Rick, and her daughter, Jillian, have cancer. Rick was diagnosed with kidney cancer in early 2023 and Jillian, their 21 year old daughter, who had to put her senior year at college on hold, was diagnosed with a rare form of aggressive lymphoma in August. Both Mary and Rick are working very hard at their insurance business (Goosehead insurance) and have excellent health care coverage but the co-pays are mounting and seem to be never ending. Rick and Mary also are trying their best to give their younger daughter, Caroline, who is a Junior in High School and is a diligent student tackling 4 AP classes while also playing on the varsity golf team, a meaningful educational experience. However, that also has a cost. Mary and Rick are the most generous, thoughtful couple and truly need our financial help to get through this situation.
