Help the Bruns' with Jackson's leukemia treatment
Donation protected
Hi, I'm Scott, and my nephew Jackson Bruns has been recently diagnosed with B-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. My sister Courtney and brother-in-law Kevin are fantastic parents, and Jackson is a sweet 18-month old boy with a great love of animals and vehicles. This diagnosis is gut-wrenching for our family because no child deserves to go through what lies in store for this little man. His prognosis is favorable, with a 90-95% success rate. Still, he will have to endure two and a half years of treatments and monitoring to ensure the chemotherapy eradicates the Leukemia. All this while Courtney is 29 weeks pregnant with their second child.
The good news is that Jackson is receiving top-notch care at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital, one of the best children's hospitals in the mid south. Unfortunately, with the high number of treatments and time spent at the hospital Courtney may have to take a leave of absence, or reduce hours at work, therefore reducing their income.
Please consider helping this incredibly deserving family overcome this hardship so that when Jackson does beat this cancer, their family isn't set back financially for years to come.
