Help The Browns Save Their Beloved Bruno

On 7/2/2025, our lives were turned upside down when our sweet dog, Bruno, was viciously attacked by another dog. The injuries he sustained are devastating — his entire upper snout and most of his upper jaw were bitten off. I won’t share photos, as they are too gruesome.

Though Bruno has survived and his outlook is hopeful, his road to recovery will be uncertain and challenging. He may need additional surgeries and will require special feeding for the foreseeable future.

Bruno is our joyful, spirited puppy — full of love and resilience. Despite everything, he’s in good spirits and has been a true fighter. The vets are amazed at how perky he remains, tail wagging and bright-eyed.

The surgeon explained Bruno now has one remaining hole to breathe through, about the size of a fingertip, with his lower jaw and tongue open to the air. He’ll need soft foods and possibly further surgeries. We’re praying for healing rather than more procedures.

His emergency care and surgery costs already exceed $7,500. We know it’s a lot, but he’s only 6, healthy, and we can’t imagine giving up on him.
