Hi, my name is Rebekah and I’m raising funds for my family, the Browns. My parents’ home of 23 years burned down yesterday. There was a kitchen appliance malfunction and there were uncontrollable flames in minutes. It took multiple departments hours to get the fire under control and put out. Once we were able to go in, we walked away with only two trash bags full of potentially salvageable items. My sister and her fiancé were also currently living in the house. All four adults have nothing; no toiletries, clothes, shoes, or other personal items. They will have to furnish an entire house from scratch. They do have insurance but that takes time and they need assistance quickly. Thankfully only my dad was home and he was taken out by fire fighters with minor burns and smoke inhalation.
