Help the Brouwers with expenses during Chemo
Donation protected
Dear Friends and Family,
You all know and love Moses! As many of you know he has recently been diagnosed with Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia( http://tinyurl.com/5hfjyfzm ).
Moses received the life-changing diagnosis on January 11, 2024, and immediately started chemotherapy on January 13th. The journey ahead is a long arduous one with lots of suffering and unknowns, and Moses will be hospitalized for the first 28 days of therapy. Over the next 12 to 18 months, he will require frequent hospitalizations, making it an extremely challenging period, to say the least, for the entire family.
The funds raised will assist the Brouwer family with both expected and unexpected expenses that come with Moses's Chemo therapy treatment. From diaper pads designed to hold his chemotherapy toxic urine(Arsenic to be specific), to G-tube neoprene wraps, to try to prevent him from ripping out his G-tube, extra blankets so Julie does not have to wash his favorite weighted blanket daily(he peed all over it when I was siting with him today), toys to distracted him in this hospital, tablet with indestructible case for his to watch movies and listen to music to name a few. Additionally, the family will need extra resources for eating out meals, as they navigate through hospital stays and treatments.
Please continue to pray for Moses, for his Hematology Team, Healing, limit side effects of his Chemotherapy. Pray for Chloe, Jude and Micah. We have no words, there are not words, no way to explain such immense suffering but we are thankful that God promises to be with us and we know he is with Moses and the Brouwers and will continue. We long for New Creation to come and make “all sad things come untrue”, but until then lets be the community of Jesus' Followers who bring pockets of New Creation to this broken world full of suffering.
Shalom,
Team Moses
