On late morning Saturday, April 24th, my moms house caught on fire while she was at work. Luckily they were able to put out the fire before it was a complete loss but the damage is extensive between the fire damage to the entire backside wall of her living room into the roof, to the water damage to the wood floors caused by the gallons of water that helped save the house. As of right now they can’t stay in the house while they wait for the insurance assessment and what it will cover. Until then they can’t start to put their home back in place and they have been encouraged by both the insurance company and fire station to not to stay in the house as the chemicals and after math smoke is dangerous to breathe in.

Anyone who knows my mom knows that she has one of the kindest hearts and open arms to anyone in need. There’s not a person she’s met that she hasn’t bent over backwards for and now we need to ask you to open your hearts and arms as wide as she always has. Even if you can’t donate, a share is always appreciated.
