We all know the challenges the past year has given us. The Brooks family received some news that Jerri Brooks is going to have to fight her second round of cancer. After already fighting breast cancer before, Jerri Brooks now has cancer on the outside of her right lung. The doctors have tested her blood and bone which came back in the clear. Due to the location of the cancer on her lung the doctors are not going to be able to surgical remove the cancer. They have installed a drain to remove the fluid surrounding her lung and already performed surgery to remove fluid from around her heart. As they prepare to further their fight we understand it is going to take time, and prayer. Jerri Brooks husband Jason Brooks is one of our own at FedEx. As they continue to take things day by day we know that in times like this all we would want is to be with our loved ones and know that they are taken care of. With medical bills and time off to care of his wife we know that leave without pay isn’t going to take away any pressure but add it on. So I’m asking if you can please donate what you can to help this family fight through round 2 with a greater peace of mind and most importantly donate your prayers!
