My name is Caity and I'm fundraising for the Briskey family.

On Monday the 2nd of August, the Briskey family got some life changing news. After weeks of testing, Peta was told that she has Hodgkin's Lymphoma.

Peta is a loving wife to Brad and a mother to 3 young, beautiful children.

She is also the main income source to their family, as Brad had to stop working due to a back injury and had to recently have further surgery.

Then, on Wednesday the 11th of August, while on their way to Bundaberg for another one of Peta’s scans, they were involved in a terrifying car accident due to a mechanical fault, leaving their family car a write off. So it's fair to say that this beautiful family have been knocked down a few times, but still amaze me by getting back up and soldiering on.

I am setting up this page to help get donations of any amount to help the Briskey family through these very tough and uncertain times and to help lighten the load financially. To help get them through all of the costs involved with the upcoming and what will be ongoing treatment such as chemotherapy as it is uncertain if Peta will be able to work much, if at all, during these times.

Depending on what they receive and all the other costs involved, I would also love for them to be able to afford a much needed family holiday to create some memories and give them a bit of time out from what life has thrown them.
