Help Support the Bresolin Family After a Tragic Loss

On January 30th, Steve Bresolin tragically lost his life while heroically trying to help others. On his way to work, Steve came upon a car accident and, without hesitation, stopped to assist. As he tried to render aid to the victims, Steve was struck by a passing vehicle and sadly passed away on impact.

Steve leaves behind two young sons who are now facing the immense loss of their father. His oldest son is traveling from Humboldt County to support the family, while his youngest just welcomed a new baby into the world. Steve did not have a life insurance policy, which means the financial burden of this sudden tragedy has fallen on his boys.

Gofund me wanted to update what my relationship is to Steve and his boys. Steve has been my “brother” for 35 years and my husband’s for 40 years. His boys are our nephews and our daughters grew up with them as uncle Steve Travis and Jacob their cousins. Once this closes out, I plan on transferring the funds to them to help with any expenses that this tragedy has caused. Steve did not have life insurance or a will so you can imagine the income that will be lost traveling back and forth from Humboldt county, cremation and memorial costs. It has been discussed possibly putting any money left into a college fund for Steve’s grandchild and future grandchildren.
