Helping Ashley and Shayne Boxer and their two kids rebuild after devastating flood loss.
In a matter of hours, Ashley and her family lost the place where they felt safe, along with so many of the things that make a house a home. A series of near-stationary thunderstorms totally flooded the Dollard-des-Ormeaux area, and the Ross family was among the hardest hit. Sewage-contaminated floodwater tore through the house, taking nearly everything with it: furniture, clothing, appliances, personal belongings, their children's things, and even their car. The destruction of their furnace and hot water tank has made returning home impossible, leaving the house completely uninhabitable. Without flood insurance, they are now carrying the overwhelming burden of rebuilding their lives while trying to provide stability for two kids during an incredibly difficult time. Right now, they are focused on the basics: finding safe housing, replacing essential belongings, getting transportation sorted out, and taking the first steps toward repairing what can be repaired.
The road ahead is long, and the financial impact is significant. This campaign was created by friends who care deeply about Ashley and her family and refuse to let them face this alone.
Every contribution, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping them recover and begin rebuilding.
