Greg and Vanessa Bowron got a call while at work on Thursday the 6th of March that a barn on their property had burned down. In the barn were their twenty chickens, heartbreakingly now lost, along with many of their own family belongings and a tractor used on the property.

They are extremely thankful to the neighbor who saw the flames while they were at work, tried to keep it contained, and called the sheriff’s department and firemen who put out the fire.

Though those who helped were able to get to it quickly, in just a short amount of time everything they had there was unfortunately lost. It was devastating to the family.

Along with the barn, well water, which came from the same vicinity, is now out of service. There’s no running water to their home.

Gregory, a veteran, has asked for help from the Red Cross as well as the VA, both of which have denied being able to provide any kind of financial assistance. Vanessa and Greg are kind-hearted Christians who wouldn’t normally ask for help.

Their biggest priority is getting their well fixed so they can get running water to their property. If you have any way to contribute financially to ensure their home is back in working order, we would greatly appreciate it. If not, prayers are always welcome.
