I’m reaching out with a heavy heart and a humble request for your help. Lennon is a vibrant 12 year old girl. She is a lover of The Wiggles, all things rainbow, and tutus. Unfortunately, Lennon has suffered with medical issues throughout her entire life. Most recently, her team of medical professionals at CHOP have decided that Lennon will need to undergo a series of surgeries over the next couple months (potentially even years). She will be undergoing major abdominal surgery that will result in her having an ileostomy for an undetermined amount of time.

Despite insurance coverage, there are still significant out-of-pocket expenses, including; hotel stays, gas/food purchases, parking costs in Philly, covers/slip devices, educational books for children to help with the the changes Lennons body is going through, and travel time back and forth from CHOP (tolls).

Lennon is the daughter of one of my best friend’s, Lillian. Lillian is one of the most caring people, I personally have ever met. She always is there for others, offering support, love and kindness whenever it’s needed. She is the epitome of someone who would give you the shirt off of her back or give her last dollar to someone in need.

As a mother myself, I feel as though no mother should have to worry about the financial burden associated with the major challenges that Lennon will be facing. Lillian and the entire Bower family will truly appreciate your support, whether it’s through a donation or simply sharing this page!
