Dear Family and Friends,

I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but today, I reach out to you not just as a husband and father, but as someone who is heartbroken, overwhelmed, and doing everything he can to hold his family together in the midst of unimaginable pain.

My wife, Angel—my heart, my best friend, and the mother of our five beautiful children—has recently been diagnosed with Glioblastoma. She’s now beginning treatment and is unable to work, and I’ve had to step back from work myself to care for her full-time.

Angel has always lived up to her name. She’s the kind of woman who puts others before herself without thinking twice—a gentle, generous spirit who brightens every room she walks into. Now she’s fighting the toughest battle of her life, and we are doing our best to be strong for her.

But our family has been facing more than just this devastating diagnosis. Just weeks ago, we lost our son Micah. There are no words for that kind of grief—only an aching emptiness that doesn’t go away. To add to our grief and pain, our other son, Samuel IV, is in the hospital now as well. One tragedy has piled on top of another, and it feels like we can barely catch our breath.

We’re not just struggling emotionally—we’re struggling financially. As I mentioned neither Angel nor I are able to work and the everyday cost of living—mortgage, food, medical bills—feels impossible to manage.
