Greetings, I’m Josh Shoob, and I live in Port St. Lucie, Florida. GoFundMe made me add this introduction for transparency and to ensure authenticity. Emily Boehm is my former spouse, and together we have a son named Randy, who resides with her. When I heard about the devastation they’ve faced, I knew I had to step in and do whatever I could to help. Seeing Randy and his mother go through this has been heartbreaking, and I’m committed to supporting them through this tough time in any way possible.

On May 26, 2024, tragedy struck when a series of tornadoes ripped through parts of Arkansas, claiming multiple lives and leaving a path of destruction. Among those affected were Joe and Emily Boehm, along with their children, who miraculously survived the ordeal unharmed.

While we are incredibly grateful that they are safe, the Boehm family has lost nearly everything. Their home suffered severe structural damage, rendering it uninhabitable. Their vehicles are likely beyond repair, and the once-beautiful landscape of their property is now barren, with all trees and smaller structures destroyed.

Currently, Joe, Emily, and their children are staying with a kind friend who has opened their home to them. Now it's time to initiate the insurance claim process; however, we are all aware of how slow and bureaucratic it can be, particularly with the extensive destruction in the area. The Boehms are facing an uncertain and lengthy recovery period before they can rebuild their lives and return to some semblance of normalcy.
