As of right now, one of the roommates living with us is unable to pay rent and other shared expenses. Our roommate is facing an extended hospital stay due to ongoing medical issues and is not earning any income as a result. The rest of us in the house have had to pitch in extra cash to ensure we can make our rent payments, but this has presented itself as an untenable financial hardship. We run the risk of eviction and being unable to find a new place to stay as our savings are being depleted.

 

We are asking for help paying our roommate's portion of our expenses for the remainder of our lease, which fortunately ends in the next three months. If our goal is met, we will be able to make sure our rent is paid in full, and any other moving expenses can be paid for, ensuring a smooth transition as we look for a better living situation.
