Help The Black Prince through the Covid19 outbreak

We are in lockdown. We need your help if we are to come out of lockdown.
The Black Prince does it's best to entertain you, the people of Northampton and beyond, with gigs and open mics and DJs and quizzes and more - week-in, week-out. However right now that isn't possible due to the covid-19 pandemic. We are, as you know, currently closed. The NN music scene has/will be decimated.
We know many of you have had some great times in recent years in this historic building, and we want you to have more. We have had everyone from slowthai to Vader play the Black Prince recently, and we don't want to stop the fun just yet.
This Covid-19 crisis is unprecedented, and will affect small businesses like us right to the core. It's no exaggeration to say it threatens our very existence, and all the great work we've collectively achieved over the past four years. Without staff we cannot run a venue, and we want to continue to support those great people, plus pay those bills that sadly won't simply vanish into thin air. There's no getting around that it's very expensive to have a centrally-located business, and we may be closed for many weeks/months should the situation not improve with haste.
Here's an opportunity for our community to play it's part. WE NEED YOUR HELP. We're asking you to do a quick dive into your pocket to buy a virtual drink or two, or a virtual gig ticket or two. A simple gesture that will have wide ramifications for us.
Everyone who donates £10 or more will gain entry to a "comeback" party weekend event[s] - we'll call in some favours and put on for you something amazing that you won't forget in a hurry.
We cannot open again it is safe to do so, and we have a lot of events to reschedule. There's a chance that, without help, we won't be coming back at all if the "long-term lockdown" scenario plays out.
In the meantime we hope our patrons remain safe and well and do all the things needed to make this situation pass quickly. We look forward to welcoming you back, and thank your graciously for your support!
