Help the bird family with medical expenses

On Sunday, November 12, Donna Bird the Grandmother, received the devastating unexpected news that her 4-year-old grandson Ciaro has a brain tumour.

They were immediately airlifted from Kelowna General Hospital to Vancouver Children's Hospital with no time to pack so much as clothes or hygiene items.

Ciaro and his Grandmother leave behind his brothers, Kaidan, and Christian, and his sister Kilayna.

Since their arrival, Ciaro has undergone surgery to insert an EVD machine that would help to drain the brain fluid. Unfortunately, it did not work, soon after Ciaro was experiencing headaches and vomiting, the surgeons decided that a shunt would be the next course of treatment.

On November 21st Ciaro went for his 2nd surgery to have a shunt placed in his head. This brave young boy who has just started kindergarten at Shannon Lake Elementary in West Kelowna needs our prayers and support.

The money raised will help the Bird family with Medical and household expenses during this difficult time.
