Talk about an unfortunate set of circumstances that happened in a short period of time to an absolutely wonderful family. Three years ago, the Binns family moved into their dream house. That same year, a tree fell onto their home, causing severe damage. It was fixed and life was good again. The following year, another tree fell, which they took care of and life was back to normal, yet again.
Fast forward to one week ago, and a large oak tree fell, not only on their house, but also their family car, causing serious damage to both. Thankfully, and most importantly, everyone in the Binns family is safe. That being said, the damage done is extremely costly and insurance isn't helping much.
They are currently doing their best to live in the house with tarps over the roof, however, minus the family car. Estimates are well over 5k to fix the damage that is done, but we gotta start somewhere. Their garage must be demoed and replaced, not to mention the car. Aside from that, they are having to have another tree removed from their yard to prevent this from happening again. Needless to say, this will be extremely expensive.
Max, Amy and their two daughters, Katy and Evie will survive. They are resilient and strong. They are a loving family that does so much for others. They could use our help, but would never ask for it. So, we're starting this for them in the hopes of speedy recovery so they can regain some normalcy and go back to enjoying their wonderful home with their family and friends.
Any help for this generous and kind family will help. Where there is love, there is hope!
