Hi, my name is Kesha. I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother Iran Bickham and sister-in-law Cynthia Bickham.

On Thanksgiving night, after leaving a family gathering at my oldest sister’s house, my brother and his family were traveling back to Jackson, Mississippi, when their vehicle was struck by a drunk driver. The driver that hit them didn’t have insurance, and unfortunately, my brother only had liability and didn’t have uninsured motorist coverage.

My brother, his wife, 17-year-old daughter, and 4-year-old son were all injured. My brother was pinned in the vehicle and had to be cut out of the car. After they cut him out of the car, he was airlifted to Our Lady of the Lake Hospital in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Iran has a split spleen, broken hip, and broken femur. He had surgery on Saturday, 11/30/2024. Although surgery went well, he had to have a blood transfusion. If his blood count is still low, then they are going to have to see where he is losing blood from.

We are asking for donations to help them with medical expenses and bills. The doctor said my brother is unable to put any weight on the left side of his body for at least 12 weeks, so he is unable to go back to work anytime soon.
