On Friday December 12th, our family, the Bertolinis experienced a devastating house fire that changed everything in a matter of minutes. Thankfully, everyone made it out safely, but the fire destroyed their home and nearly everything they owned.
They lost clothes, furniture, important documents, cherished family photos, and the sense of security that comes with having a place to call home. Right now, they are facing the overwhelming task of starting over from scratch while dealing with the emotional toll of this tragedy. The house has been in the Bertolini family for 3 generations and while we cannot get the sentimental value back, we can get a safe, happy new home back.
We are asking for help to cover immediate needs such as temporary housing, clothing, food, and essential household items, as well as long-term costs involved in rebuilding their lives. Any donation, no matter the size, will go directly toward helping them get back on their feet.
There is no insurance coverage and the plan to rebuild will be out of pocket and financially devastating.
If you’re unable to donate, please consider sharing this page to help spread the word. Your kindness, prayers, and support mean more than we can express during this incredibly difficult time. Donations of house building materials could help a lot as well.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping our family through this.
