Last week started like any other, but has left a man fighting for his life. On Tuesday, January 25th, Conrad (Connie) had an accident while at work, which resulted in a required surgery. He was admitted to Albany Med so that surgery could be done the next morning. However, he unexpectedly suffered a blood clot, which left him without oxygen for an extended period of time while nurses and doctors performed CPR & ultimately put him on life support.

Things are thankfully looking up, but the road to recovery is very long. Conrad (Connie) is self-employed, and without work, he does not have an income, yet the bills keep coming. He is his families sole provider & also is the primary caregiver to his father, who suffers from dementia.
