Help the Berg Family

Donation protected
On July 29 at a routine anatomy ultrasound for Phil and Sharon’s twin boys, doctors discovered Sharon was in preterm labor at only 21 weeks. Through prayer, the labor stopped, and Sharon remained on hospitalized bedrest for nearly a week.

On August 4, at 22 weeks gestation, Sharon went into labor again, and gave birth to Weston John Elijah and Elijah Nicholas. Elijah passed away in his mother’s arms.

Weston is now (on 8/25) 3 weeks old/25 weeks gestation and fighting for his life. Through prayer and the skilled hands of doctors, nurses, and more at Mercy Hospital (level three NICU) he has made it through his first three weeks. On August 23, doctors decided he needed to be transferred to St. Louis Children’s Hospital, a level 4 NICU, to better address his heart and lung conditions. Phil, Sharon, and, two-year-old big brother William are with him there. They are in a close hotel until the space opens for them at the Ronald McDonald house. (Although almost all their time is spent with Weston.)

We are raising money to help with hospital bills and the normal every day expenses in life. Phil is not able to work during this time because Weston’s situation is so precarious and can change hour to hour.

Please consider helping the Berg‘s out both financially and in prayer. Thank you!

Also another family member has made a Tshirt fundraiser to help the Berg family.
