Hey everyone, my name is Elena, on Wednesday night around 10:45pm, we got the most devastating news that my grandmother Irma & my father Mike, tragically lost their entire home in a house fire in Weehawken, NJ. My grandmother, who was awakened out of her sleep by the tenant upstairs, was able to get out of the house but was injured in the process of evacuating and caused her to fall and break her ankle. She did receive medical care. My dad and both dogs also made it out of the house safely. Although they lost everything, they are well and temporarily staying with family members. My grandmother put her life into her home & it is extremely devastated. We’ve had so many memories in that house and grew up there. This is very difficult for all of us to process & we will be so grateful to accept your prayers and anything that can help our family during this time, and just know, we greatly appreciate your support.
